Felix Nmecha in High Demand: Manchester United, Barcelona, and Liverpool Target's Steep Asking Price Revealed This Summer

Germany midfielder Felix Nmecha has emerged as a standout player at the World Cup, starting both games for Julian Nagelsmann's team and attracting interest from top European clubs. Despite being called up as a backup option, Nmecha has dominated in midfield, impressing fans and scouts alike.

Born in Germany, Nmecha spent his youth in England and came through the Manchester City youth academy, making him eligible to be considered a homegrown player in the Premier League. This has caught the attention of Premier League clubs, with Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool all linked to the 25-year-old. Liverpool and Manchester United have reportedly made inquiries about Nmecha's availability, while Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to be interested.

Nmecha's market value has skyrocketed to €50m, a significant increase from the €15m he was valued at when he joined Borussia Dortmund from Wolfsburg in 2023. His impressive form has led to speculation about his future, with Dortmund reportedly unwilling to sell him for less than €100m. However, Nmecha's contract is said to include release clauses, which would allow him to leave for €80m in 2027 and €70m in 2028. It remains to be seen whether clubs will be willing to wait for a discounted price or try to sign him this summer.
