King Charles and Camilla Have Highly Anticipated Meeting with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Their Children in the UK

King Charles III and Queen Camilla met with Prince Harry, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and their two children on Friday in the UK. This meeting marks the first time Charles and Camilla have seen Meghan and their grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, since 2022. The royal family gathered at Highgrove House, the king and queen's residence in Gloucestershire, England.

Prior to the meeting, Prince Harry attended an event in Birmingham for the Invictus Games, which will be held in the city next July. His visit to the UK was for several charity-related engagements. The meeting with Charles and Camilla comes after Harry expressed concerns about bringing his family to the UK due to safety issues.

Harry had previously lost an appeal challenging the British government's decision to reduce his publicly funded security after stepping back from royal duties in 2020. The Sussexes have since relied on a privately funded security team. Prince Harry's final charity engagement of this trip is scheduled for Saturday, where he will meet with Scotty's Little Soldiers, an organization that supports children who have lost a parent in military service.
