Premier League Takes Center Stage: 23 Talents Including World Cup Stars Make Cut for Coveted Golden Boy Top 100 Award

The European Golden Boy Top 100 list has been updated, with the Premier League dominating the rankings. A total of 23 players from the English top-flight are in contention for the award, which has been presented by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport since 2003. Barcelona and Spain superstar Lamine Yamal currently leads the rankings, followed by Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery and Barca's Pau Cubarsí.

The list features 19 Bundesliga players, 13 Ligue 1 players, nine LaLiga talents, and seven Serie A youngsters, as well as representatives from Ukraine, Switzerland, Poland, Sweden, and Greece. French youngsters are the most represented, with 13 players on the list, ahead of England and Germany, which have nine talents each, and the Netherlands and Spain, which have seven each.

Chelsea's Brazilian youngster Estêvão is the highest-ranked Premier League player, in sixth position, followed by Bournemouth winger Rayan, Tottenham defender Luka Vuskovic, and Bournemouth's Junior Kroupi. The list will continue to be updated, with all talents born in 2006 or later, playing in one of the 25 strongest European top-flight leagues, considered for selection.

In October, the list will be narrowed down to the top 20, from which an international panel of experts will select the 2026 Golden Boy. The award recognizes the most promising young players in European football, with the winner to be announced later this year.
