Arsenal and Chelsea Stars Sit Out England Training Ahead of Highly Anticipated Panama Clash

England's optimism following a 4-2 win over Croatia has faded after a stalemate against Ghana. The team's performance has raised concerns, with pundits questioning Thomas Tuchel's decision to replace Tino Livramento with a centerback instead of a fullback.

Reece James's fitness is a major worry ahead of the crucial match against Panama on Saturday. James, who has struggled with availability issues, including a knee injury that ruled him out of the World Cup in Qatar, has now suffered a hamstring injury.

According to reports, James and Declan Rice missed training, fueling concerns about their participation in the upcoming game. Rice, who has been managing neural pain in his hamstring since December, is expected to be fit, but James is considered a major doubt.

With Livramento not in the squad, Djed Spence is the obvious replacement for James. However, Tuchel also has Ezri Konsa and Jarell Quansah as options. The German boss may also consider resting Rice, given his heavy workload and the risk of suspension, which could lead to Jude Bellingham partnering Elliot Anderson in midfield.

Other players, including Kobbie Mainoo and Jordan Henderson, are also available for selection as England looks to secure a win against Panama to top Group L.
