Carlo Ancelotti confirms Neymar's return for crucial Scotland clash in upcoming match

Brazilian coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Neymar will be included in the squad for the match against Scotland in the final round of Group C at the World Cup. The player has recovered from a calf injury that kept him out of the first two matches.

According to Ancelotti, Neymar trained well during the week and is available for the crucial match. The coach expressed his happiness at having the player back, stating that Neymar's quality can help the team. However, it is unclear how long he will play, with expectations that he will be used for around 15 minutes to regain match fitness.

Neymar's return to the team comes after a long absence, with his last match for Brazil being on October 17th, 2023. He suffered a serious injury on that occasion but has been called up again by Ancelotti for the 2026 World Cup. The coach praised Neymar's attitude and work ethic, saying he is happy with the player's progress.

Brazil faces Scotland on Wednesday, seeking a win to secure first place in Group C. The 2026 World Cup, which features 48 national teams, is being held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11th to July 19th.
