George Russell Stuns Ferrari Drivers to Claim Pole Position at the Austrian Grand Prix

George Russell secured pole position for the Austrian Grand Prix with a dramatic late lap in his Mercedes, edging out the two Ferraris. The 28-year-old Briton, who had struggled in Friday's practice, posted a time of 1:06.113 seconds, despite having to lift through a section of waved yellow flags. Charles Leclerc will start second, 0.236 seconds behind Russell, with Lewis Hamilton in third, 0.295 seconds off the pace. Italian teenager Kimi Antonelli qualified fourth, having slowed down in response to double-waved yellow flags following Max Verstappen's crash in his Red Bull.
