Neymar Rejects MLS Club Offer But Could Still Make Shocking Move to the United States

Neymar's potential move to FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer has stalled, with the Brazilian soccer legend pulling out of negotiations. According to reports, Neymar grew frustrated with the prolonged process, despite initial positive discussions.

Although Cincinnati never made a formal offer, Neymar was willing to join the team if financial terms were agreed upon. The club's sporting director, Chris Albright, and president, Jeff Berding, had met with Neymar and his father earlier this year.

Neymar's MLS aspirations are not over, however, as he may consider another team if the situation and financial terms are favorable. Currently, he is signed with Brazilian side Santos until the end of the year, where he has scored six goals and provided four assists in 1,265 minutes.

This development marks the second consecutive summer that FC Cincinnati has missed out on a high-profile signing, following last year's failed attempt to sign German legend Thomas Müller. The club will continue to pursue top talent, with Brazilian midfielder Evander and star striker Kévin Denkey currently leading their lineup.

FC Cincinnati will face Vancouver, Müller's current team, on July 22, and will play a friendly against EFL Championship side Burnley on July 10.
