Neymar to Miss Haiti Clash as Brazil Star Continues Rehabilitation from Injury

Brazilian forward Neymar will not join his team for their World Cup group match against Haiti in Philadelphia due to a calf injury. The Brazilian football association stated that Neymar will remain in New Jersey to complete his recovery, utilizing the facilities at The Ridge hotel and Columbia Park training centre.

Neymar was spotted participating in drills with the squad on Wednesday, after warming up separately. Prior to this, his training had been limited to indoor sessions with physiotherapists and fitness coaches, as Brazil exercises caution with his return to action.

The 34-year-old suffered the calf injury during a match between Santos and Coritiba last month, marking the latest in a series of injuries and physical setbacks. Neymar has not played for Brazil in almost three years. Brazil currently has one point in the World Cup, following a draw with Morocco, while Haiti is at the bottom of the group after losing to Scotland.
