Mohamed Salah Set to Embark on New Adventure in Turkey with Besiktas After Liverpool Stint

Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah is on the verge of joining Turkish club Besiktas, having reached an agreement with the team. The 34-year-old forward, a free agent after leaving Liverpool, is set to sign a one-year contract with an option for an additional season. According to reports, Salah's deal will be worth around €10 million per year, plus up to €2 million in bonuses. This move marks a new chapter for the Egyptian star, who spent nearly a decade at Liverpool, making over 440 appearances and winning eight trophies. Despite a relatively subdued performance in the 2025/26 season, Salah still managed 22 goal involvements in 41 games.
