Spencer Pratt Meets with Donald Trump After Mayoral Loss, Vows 'I Will Never Stop'

Spencer Pratt, a former reality TV star, met with President Donald Trump at the White House Oval Office. The meeting, which included Pratt's young son and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, was documented on Instagram. Pratt, who ran for Los Angeles mayor as a Republican, stated, "I will never stop fighting for my community."

Pratt's mayoral bid was unsuccessful, failing to secure enough votes in the June 2 primary election. The general election, set for November 3, will be between incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and City Council member Nithya Rama, both Democrats.

Following the primary election, Trump made unsubstantiated claims about California's election laws on social media, suggesting that Pratt's loss was due to "rigged elections." Trump's remarks came after a tense interview with moderator Kristen Welker on "Meet the Press," where he exited abruptly due to disagreements over election security.

Pratt had previously campaigned on addressing Los Angeles' homelessness and drug abuse issues, criticizing Mayor Bass's handling of the crises. Despite this, Bass has reported a decline in street homelessness for two consecutive years, a first in the city's history.
