Facial Recognition Reveals Shocking Connection: Delaney Hall Chaos Linked to Portland and Minnesota, According to Homan

A video has captured the moment when Newark police instructed protesters to move backward as law enforcement officers cleared a blocked roadway on Sunday, outside Delaney Hall, where anti-ICE activists were being taken into custody and faced charges related to rioting and failure to disperse.

A prolonged standoff, spanning several weeks, between protesters and law enforcement ultimately resulted in additional arrests on Sunday, outside Delaney Hall, which is a New Jersey immigration detention center that has been targeted by political activists who are attempting to incite unrest in pursuit of their open-borders agenda.

Protesters who were blocking the path of vehicles outside the gates were forced to retreat from the street and, in certain instances, were physically subdued and taken into custody after engaging in a confrontation with officers from the Newark Police Department, who had issued multiple commands to "back up," as evidenced by a video that was shared online.

One activist seemingly clutched at his head after losing his balance and falling backwards, apparently as a result of getting too close to the officers who were making an arrest, but he then chose to continue recording the scene from a safer vantage point, and he appeared to have escaped without sustaining any serious harm.

On Saturday night and extending into Sunday morning, a total of six individuals were taken into custody and faced charges related to rioting and failure to disperse, with two of those arrested having a history of previous offenses, as reported by the office of Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda.

A confrontation occurred between anti-ICE agitators and federal agents in the area outside the Newark Detention Center.

Newark Police carried out a total of six arrests during the protest that took place at Delaney Hall, which began on Saturday, June 6, and continued into Sunday, June 7, 2026.
The arrests that were made by the Newark Police were a result of the suspects being observed engaging in acts of property damage and obstructing the entrance to Delaney Hall, according to Miranda.
Miranda further explained that at the point when the suspects were seen committing these actions, an order for an unlawful assembly was issued, as the act of blocking the entrance posed a significant public safety hazard that had the potential to put everyone at risk, including the detainees themselves.

Miranda further elaborated that these particular individuals declined to cooperate and refused to comply, Miranda added.
Allison Wuu, a 19-year-old resident of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Lucas Jimenez, an 18-year-old resident of Hoboken, New Jersey, were also taken into custody on June 1, while four additional rioters were formally charged on Sunday, including Drew Larsen, a 28-year-old individual from Brooklyn, New York; Solomon Dunston, a 30-year-old individual from Bordentown, New Jersey; Rayaan Baywa, a 22-year-old individual from Riverside, Connecticut; and Julianna Wurst, a 19-year-old individual from Old Bridge, New Jersey.

In the state of New Jersey, a group of agitators has been involved in a violent confrontation with ICE agents, which has resulted in the individuals biting, kicking, and punching the agents, as the clashes at Delaney Hall continue to escalate, leading to the arrest of 9 additional individuals, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Each of the individuals who have been taken into custody is facing a charge of rioting, as well as failure to disperse, and it is essential to note that they are presumed to be innocent until such time as they are proven guilty in a court of law, where they will have the opportunity to defend themselves against the allegations.

Demonstrations taking place outside the gates have demonstrated activists aggressively targeting cars, obstructing the exits, and in certain instances being forced out of the way after being struck by vehicles that were attempting to rapidly drive away from the violent activists.
Miranda expressed her sentiments on social media, stating that no individual possesses the right to enter their city, cause destruction to personal property, or provoke violence, and she emphasized this point by saying, "No one has the right to come into our city, destroy personal property, or incite violence."
Additionally, Miranda cautioned potential protesters, advising them to carefully consider their actions before coming to Newark, and she explicitly stated, "Think twice before coming to Newark with any other agenda than to protest peacefully," in an effort to promote peaceful demonstrations.

Delaney Hall snack purchases have raised questions regarding the validity of hunger strike reports, according to the Department of Homeland Security, or DHS.
A individual who was identified as an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or anti-ICE, agitator was seen on a video recording being taken into custody by law enforcement authorities outside the Delaney Hall detention facility, which is located in Newark, New Jersey, on the evening of Friday.

A video recording revealed that anti-ICE agitators were kicking cars that were attempting to enter and depart from Delaney Hall, which is located in Newark, New Jersey, on the evening of Friday.

According to a video, anti-ICE agitators were observed allegedly trying to prevent vehicles from departing the Delaney Hall detention facility, situated in Newark, New Jersey, on the night of Friday.

Fox News Digital contacted Miranda's office to obtain additional commentary regarding the events that transpired on Sunday night.
The individuals who are being charged with crimes, specifically those who transition from engaging in protests to engaging in criminal activity, such as insulting law enforcement officers and causing damage to government property, are primarily from out of state, according to Border czar Tom Homan, who made these remarks during an appearance on "FOX & Friends" on Monday.

It is evident that these individuals are paid protesters, as evidenced by the fact that facial recognition technology has identified people from Portland who have been involved in riots in that city, as well as numerous individuals from Minnesota, which suggests that this is a highly organized and coordinated effort, according to Homan. Homan further emphasized that this is not a spontaneous or locally-driven movement, stating that this is a well-planned and established initiative that they are undertaking. While it is acknowledged that there are many local people who are exercising their right to protest peacefully, and they are certainly entitled to do so, the majority of the violence, although not all of it, is being perpetrated by people who are not from the local area.

Homan has also made accusations against Democrats, alleging that they are being dishonest about the conditions at Delaney Hall, which was made clear after he made a surprise visit to an ICE facility.

It has been reported that a so-called "hunger strike" has been taking place continuously since May 23, initiated by illegal alien detainees who are expressing dissatisfaction with their living arrangements, but according to information provided by Fox News, there has been a notable increase in the purchase of snacks by detainees at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center during the period when the alleged hunger strike is said to be occurring.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin made a statement last week, in which he said, "The fact is, we’re giving them the calories they want," and he also added, "This isn’t Holiday Inn," emphasizing the point that the detention center is not a luxury establishment, but rather a facility intended for individuals who are being held in custody due to their immigration status.

Following the confrontation between the activists and law enforcement, approximately 90 individuals have been taken into custody as a result of the ensuing actions, which led to a significant number of arrests, totaling around 90.
