Vance Exposes the Secret Dress Code Donald Trump Demands His Cabinet Members Follow

Vice President JD Vance has revealed President Donald Trump's strict dress code rules for Cabinet members, emphasizing the importance of respecting the institution through traditional attire. In a recent podcast episode, Vance explained that Trump's classic style is rooted in the belief that public officials must honor the offices they serve.

According to Vance, the president expects his team to project professionalism, often wearing navy suits, black shoes, and solid ties. He noted that Trump would occasionally tease Cabinet members for wearing brown shoes, considering it inappropriate.

This approach to dress code is not new, as Trump has previously shown his attention to detail when it comes to his team's attire. Earlier this year, he confirmed that he sometimes buys new shoes for his officials if they are not dressed appropriately.

The emphasis on traditional dress code has also been observed in interactions with foreign leaders, such as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who wore more formal attire during a meeting at the White House. Vance recalled that Trump had praised Zelenskyy's suit, marking a positive moment in their relationship.

The vice president also shared an anecdote about Trump's son, Don Jr., who wore a spread collar to an event, prompting a comment from the president about the width of the collar. Vance took this as a cue to adhere to more conventional attire, opting for navy suits, black shoes, and classic collars.
