Lauren Bennett, Singer Behind Hit Song 'Party Rock Anthem,' Dies Suddenly at 37

Lauren Bennett, the singer known for her feature on LMFAO's hit song "Party Rock Anthem," has died at the age of 37. Her former band, G.R.L., announced the news on their Instagram page, expressing their sadness and cherishing the memories they shared with her.

Bennett launched her solo career in 2010, collaborating with artists such as CeeLo Green and will.i.am. She was born in Meopham, England, and began her music career at 18 as part of the Paradiso Girls. The group released their debut single "Patron Tequila" in 2009 before Bennett pursued a solo career.

Bennett later joined G.R.L., which released popular songs including "Vacation" and "Wild Wild Love" with Pitbull. The group suffered a tragedy in 2014 when member Simone Battle died by suicide at 25, prompting them to release a tribute song called "Lighthouse" in her honor. Bennett continued to release music, including songs "Reality" and "Hurricane," and reunited with her G.R.L. bandmates for various projects.

For those struggling with suicidal thoughts, support is available through the 988 hotline or the Crisis Text Line by texting 741741.
