Real Madrid 'agree personal terms' with Diomande in eye-catching transfer race

Real Madrid has reportedly agreed personal terms with Yan Diomande, a 19-year-old winger who gained attention during the World Cup. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish club is now a contender to sign the player, currently with RB Leipzig. Diomande had initially agreed to personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain in June, but Los Blancos are attempting to secure his services instead.

Real Madrid is prepared to offer a new bid to Leipzig after an initial offer of €90m plus €10m was rejected. PSG remains in contact with the player, but the club is unwilling to overpay for his services. Diomande impressed with Côte d'Ivoire at the 2026 World Cup, making four appearances and registering an assist. At club level, he has 26 goal contributions for Leipzig in just 36 appearances.

The development comes as Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid, adding an interesting dynamic to the transfer saga. Meanwhile, RB Leipzig is eyeing a potential €130m deal for Diomande. The situation continues to unfold, with multiple top clubs vying for the young winger's signature.
