The image, taken on June 16, shows the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool covered in algae, damage to the White House South Lawn, and a mysterious covering on the National Mall with the number "8647" written on it, prompting a US Park Police investigation.
The Department of the Interior had completed work on the Reflecting Pool earlier this month, but the renovations have left it with an algae-green color, a far cry from the "American Flag Blue" envisioned by President Donald Trump.
