Christos Tzolis Joins Gunners as Arsenal Confirm £34m Transfer for Third Summer Signing

Arsenal have completed the signing of Greece international Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for a £34million fee. The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract, committing his future to the club until 2031. Tzolis becomes Arsenal's third summer signing, following the arrivals of goalkeeper Illan Meslier and defender Piero Hincapie.

The winger, who can play across the front line, fills the gap left by Leandro Trossard's move to Besiktas. Tzolis scored 22 goals and provided 29 assists in 52 appearances for Club Brugge last season, attracting interest from across Europe. He has been capped 34 times for Greece and has previous experience in England, having played for Norwich between 2021 and 2024.

Tzolis is expected to join his new teammates this week and is likely to make an immediate impact. Arsenal remain in the market for at least one more forward signing, with Tzolis' arrival not affecting their pursuit of a more marquee signing. The Greek winger has expressed his excitement about joining the club, stating that he is a direct player who focuses on scoring goals and providing assists.
