Iran's Atomic Energy Organization condemned a US strike on a nuclear power plant under construction in Darkhovin, calling it a "crime against international law." The plant, located in southwestern Iran's Khuzestan province, began construction in 2022.
The US strikes targeted coastal surveillance systems, air defenses, maritime assets, and missile and drone storage sites. Over 50,000 US troops are operating across the Middle East, remaining on high alert.
